We are celebrating the life of Bookie, a dedicated husband, father, family member, and friend to many at a short memorial service at FUMC of Shreveport on April 6th at 11 am. Afterwards, we are planning to congregate at Joe Cobb's BBQ in Bossier, as he would love for all family and friends to come together in his remembrance.
Additionally, we are honoring Bookie at a life celebration service at Houck's Grille in Roswell on Saturday, April 8th from 1:30-3:30 pm. The family will receive guests throughout the event with light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments being served. We will have an "open-mic" time from 2:30-3:00, for everyone to share stories, experiences, and thoughts of Bookie and all the memorable times together.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Bookie's honor at http://act.alz.org/site/TR?pxfid=393218&pg=fund&fr_id=1060, to help eradicate this disease.
