Chris Ernesto Bracamonte

Chris Ernesto Bracamonte was born on October 24,1961, at General Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 30, 2019. Chris was named Adolpho Ernesto Chavez at birth.  When he was 12 his mother Julia Rose Ortiz married Gustavo Bracamonte. Adolf, as he is still known by many of his family members, was adopted by Gustavo and was given the opportunity to change his name. He chose the name Chris after his uncle.

Chris was a free spirit that loved everyone and judged no one.  Chris had a way about him that made you feel comfortable and welcome around him.  He always had a smile and a hug for you when he greeted you. It didn’t matter who you were, he would open his heart to you. He would do anything for anyone.  He assisted so many people in so many ways. If you needed anything, Chris would be there. It didn’t matter whether it was a ride, help moving, a job, a place to live, a motorcycle to ride, or your house painted. Chris was your man. He had your back. Chris was a good friend and a good man.  He loved without prejudice and was caring and generous. He would literally give you the shirt off of his back and the shoes off of his feet.

Chris loved his children, his family, his friends and his brothers. Chris loved to play the guitar. He loved music, nearly every kind, and his taste was eclectic. He was in a few hair bands in his early years where he played bass.  He played in the Battle of the Bands at the Whiskey A GoGo but unfortunately Motley Crue won.

Chris was a painter by trade and was proud he could paint without taping first.  His Utah Pops, the late, Ken Bates, taught him this trade.

Chris loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Sundowners MC for many years. He loved his brothers very much.  Chris enjoyed a good game of golf. Chris loved all types of food and all types of women. He lived life on his own terms. He is sorely missed by many.

Chris is survived by his six children: Christopher Bracamonte, Jessica Hahn (Danny), LolaLynne Rose Lepsic (Zach Eppley), Dylan Bracamonte, Devyn Vanleeuwen (Shannon Yruegas) and Madilyn Rose Bracamonte, parents, Gustavo and Julia Bracamonte; brother Gustavo (Maria) Bracamonte; sister Rosemary Bracamonte; mothers of his children Kelly Russell, Jennifer Maragets, Tiffany Race, and Judy Dixon (Jerry Cochran); wives Jennelue Bracamonte, Tiffany Bracamonte, and Summer Bracamonte; fiance Sarah Snipes, many family members: aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandma Juanita Rayas, his brother Steve Bracamonte, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and brothers.
