Lanny Birch Gill

Lanny Birch Gill passed away November 21, 2018, after a strong, courageous fight, following a lung transplant. Lanny was born in Roosevelt, Utah to Cyle and Ulah Birtcher Gill on June
12, 1945. He honorably served in the Navy during the Viet Nam war.

After his service, he graduated from Utah State University. married Janet Spriggs, had three beautiful daughters, later divorced. He married the love of his life, Pam, his "Little Bride" and, along with her three wonderful children, whom he loved and raised as his own, spent 30 amazing years building a life of love and happy memories.

Lanny welcomed everyone and made them feel loved. He was a strong protector of his family and if someone was in need of help he was there. He touched the lives of many and was loved and respected by all.

Lanny is survived by his wife, Pam, children, JaLanna Baker (Stacey), Jamie Gill, Adrianne Gill, Bradley Stephenson, Brianna Stephenson, and Sean Stephenson (Maria), 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and his best friends, Norm and Shiree Foulger. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard Gill, and his sister, LeeAnna Phillips. 

His Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Stonebridge Golf Course Club House, 4415 Links Dr., WVC, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Please come casual and share your memories of Lanny.
