Monica Lee Wilson

Salt Lake City Mission First Lady Monica Lee Wilson, the mission "MOM" beat us all to Jesus on December 6th, 2020 at 9:45pm PST in North Bend Oregon. We celebrate her life and victory. She lived life with Jesus in the center of her producing a jubilant and infectious joy flowing from her that spread to everyone. She was genuine, loved the simple things in life and found the beauty in everything.

She was born on June 25, 1963. Monica was placed into foster care at age 13 and adopted at age 18 by a loving couple Melvin E. & JoAnn Fudge Young. She was the faithful loving wife of Pastor Wayne Wilson for over 26 years. She impacted over a half million people and she was a mother to over hundreds of thousands of homeless and hurting men, women and children at the mission. She loved, laughed, fed, mothered, corrected, taught, sang, entertained, counseled, brought joy, healing, deliverance, and prayed continually for all of them.

Her funeral was broadcast live on Serenicare.com via Zoom on Friday, December 18th at 11:00 am MST. Watch the recording of the Broadcast by clicking on the "Click here to access video" button below. Unfortunately because of the length of the service and a small technical problem, the first 15- 20 minutes is not available.

Monica requested donations to Salt Lake City Mission in lieu of flowers to continue her legacy of helping others!
