Adeline McIntyre Fowler

Adeline McIntyre Fowler, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend, who will be greatly missed, died March 2013 of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and great- grandson. She was born July 26, 1928, in Oilmont, Montana to Bill and Emma McIntyre. After high school graduation she married John W. Fowler on June 7, 1947 at the Presbyterian Church in Cut Bank, Montana, They moved to Bozeman, Montana where she completed Cosmetology School. Ten years later the couple moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they raised two daughters. She was an active member of Westvale Presbyterian Church, the Hybernians, and the Sub Vets association Mom loved to dance, entertain company, and spend time with her family. She was an avid camper and a world traveler. There were no strangers in moms' life. Anyone she met was quickly enveloped into loving arms and an Irish heart forever. She had a ready smile, a quick wit, and a love for life. We would like to thank the wonderful, compassionate caregivers at Advocate Hospice, Legacy House, and all of our neighbors, family and friends who have been so supportive of our mom. She was truly blessed by the love and care each of you gave her. Survivors: Two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and John Wagner, Karen and Stan Saltas; three granddaughters, Rachelle Wagner (Ren) Jacobson, Stephanie Saltas, and Heather Saltas (Mike) Hayes; one grandson, Andy (Stacy) Wagner; great grandchildren, Kalee and Kaitlin Jacobson, Kade Pendleton, Austin and Brian Loertcher, Hunter and Amy Hayes, Josh and Cole Wagner. Viewing to be held the evening of March 20, 5-7 PM at the Westvale Presbyterian Church, 3610 South 4400 West, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral is to be held March 21, at l0 AM where friends can gather 1 hour prior to services.
