Adora Beth James

Adora Beth James quietly slipped away January 10, 2022 in Pleasant View, Utah. She was born December 9, 1962 to Charles Herbert Alexander and Lillian Annette Rieken in Ontario, Oregon. She attended Ben Lomand High School in Ogden, Utah. Adora was a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service for sixteen years.

Adora loved to crafts and was very talented at it. She was an accomplished needlepoint artist. She was a caring person to the many cats she owned. Many people knew of her loving care and secretly dropped off stray cats to her home in the middle of the night.

Adora leaves behind a son; Brian James and a daughter; K. James. She is also survived by three brothers; Roger (Kathy) Alexander, Robert (Susan) Alexander and Joe (Karen) Alexander.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lillian Rose (who died one day before her due date) and a sister, Julie Alexander.

A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, January 20 at the Pleasant View 1st Ward, 3035 N 1325 West, Pleasant View Utah. Burial will follow afterwards at Ogden City Cemetery.
