After he was released from the Navy he joined the Army and was stationed in Texas, Colorado, Germany and Korea. After 17 years in the military he decided to become a long haul truck driver. Al loved driving almost more than anything else in his life. He would always say it was like having a vacation and getting paid for it. He truly loved driving across the country.Al loved to go fishing and hunting. He enjoyed making things and then giving them away. He loved going out to dinner and any kind of ice cream especially strawberry banana malts. Al was very proud of his son Ryan. He loved the time that they spent together fixing Annabelle. Al had a amazing bond with his daughter Alicia. She was always his biggest cheerleader and will forever be his half pint. Al's ray of sunshine was his granddaughter, Zoey. She was his fishing buddy, duck feeding pal, partner in crime and best friend. She will always love him to Mickey and back. Al was very excited to have a grandson Wesley. He could hardly wait for him to get big enough to go fishing with him. Al leaves behind his wife Joy, his son Ryan (Lynda),daughter Alicia, granddaughter Zoey and grandson Wesley. He also has two older sons. He will be missed by his bed partners Garfield and Ariel. He also leaves a adopted son Cory who he loved to joke with. Al is also survived by three brothers.
