Alice Marie Clifford

Alice Marie (Knudsen) Clifford (Marie to all who knew her) was born to Joseph Edwin Knudsen and Alice Clyde Knudsen on August 22, 1923 in Pima, AZ. She was a graduate from Yuma High School. She married her sweetheart, Clarence Nyle Clifford, who she cherished and loved for her time on this Earth and for Eternity.

She was a homemaker, and loved her occupation. She was a great cook, accomplished seamstress, made the best enchiladas, a member of several singing groups, President of the PTA, served happily in many Church callings, danced a lively 2-step with her sweetheart, and the VERY BEST MOTHER EVER!!

She had 3 wonderful children, Linda (Larry) Bowman, Joyce (taking applications) Maxson, and Donald (Darlene) Clifford. She was a delight to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held at the Lehi Stake Center at 1430 N Grand, Mesa, AZ 85201 on February 24, 2017 with a viewing at 9 am in the Relief Society Room, and 10 am Service in the Chapel. Graveside will follow at Mesa Cemetery following the Service. The Family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice of the Valley and Montecito Acute Care Rehabilitation Center for all the help in Marie’s care.
