Alma "Lloyd" Wasden (95) passed away on July 17, 2006 in Springville, Utah. Lloyd was born on February 9, 1911 in Scipio, Utah, the son of Orson and Lizzie Bradfield Wasden.
Lloyd attended Millard High School, the Chicago Institute of Electrical Repair and the North Light Art School. During his life he was employed as an appliance repair man, a farm mechanic and a cattle rancher.
He married Nola I. Quarnberg on Jan. 11, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. Lloyd is survived by his son Lyle (Rebecca) Wasden, 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola and son, F. Delmar Wasden.
Lloyd taught his grandchildren to accomplish any goal and to have a testimony of the Savior. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the office of High Priest, he served in many church positions.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 pm on Wed. July 26 in the Scipio LDS Church, 80 West 100 North. A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 am. Interment in the Scipio City Cemetery.
