Amber Marie Andersson

Amber Marie Andersson, precious daughter, grand-daughter, aunt, sister, cousin, niece, and friend to many, went home to her Father in Heaven on Monday, September 29, 2014, after spending about 12 days in a medically induced coma as a result of seizures and prolonged pressure in the brain. The doctors and staff, at IHC Intermountain Medical Center, in Murray, were phenomenal. Thank you to those doctors, nurses, social workers, and other staff that provided such compassion and care and for exhausting every resource to determine the cause in an effort to save her life. Eventually, after all their efforts and exhausting every resource, there was nothing that could stop the pressure building in her brain and Amber, her mother's sunshine, returned to her Heavenly Home after fighting the fight. Amber was courageous and brave as she entered this world, knowing the overwhelming difficulties she would face, and was willing to make that sacrifice in order to follow the plan of our Savior Jesus Christ. Those chapters of her life story, here on earth, will be remembered and told throughout time. As her life story continues in Heaven we morn her departure and feel the loss. Her authentic self was gracious, kind, compassionate, nurturing, loving, and noble. She found self expression through music and song, and cared deeply about others and loved deeply. As Amber moves forward in her journey, she leaves behind her mother, Susann Andersson, brother, Chris Johnson and his children - (her niece, Amyah, and nephew, Carter), grandparents, Lars and Sylvia Andersson, cousin (one who was like a mother and played a great role in Amber's life), Amanda Johnson, aunts (Lenae, Jennie, Tiffany), extended aunts (Jackie A., Jackei M., Jodi), uncles (Dan, Russ, and Austin), extended uncles (Louis), many more cousins, extended family, and friends. As a result of Amber's life new friendships were forged and family extended. Lives were changed and great lessons of compassion , love, and empathy were taught as a result of knowing Amber. Amber changed our lives for the better and we love and miss her. Funeral Services, in "Tribute of Princess Amber Marie who Graced Our Lives", will be held, for friends and family, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 11:00am, at the LDS Church House located at 4251 S. 4800 W., in West Valley City, Utah.
