"Our sweet angel"... "Our ray of sunshine"  Amelia brightened a room and everyone in there felt it. Her contagious laughter that would often bring us to happy tears. 

Her courage and strength are an inspiration to all who knew her. 

Our "Hero" without a doubt! 

Gone too soon ...

Born July 15, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada 

Passed away June 19, 2023 in West Jordan, Utah 

A result of complications from a prior severe adverse DTaP vaccine acquired injury in Las Vegas, Nv. which disabled her at 19 months of age (1996), eventually leading to bacterial pneumonias with staph infections and related complications the latter part of her life, while in a care facility. 

She was lovingly surrounded by her parents: Don & Michele, sisters: Amber (Nate) and Mandy; her aunts: Kathleen, Robin and Andrea; niece, Mila; cousin, Bella; as well as friends Kathryn and Megan. 

While here on this earth, Amelia was a positive influence, making a difference for many others with similar healthcare challenges through global outreach and the "Project Mia". 

Our family would like to thank all the family, friends, homecare, palative and hospice workers assisting us in kindly caring for our daughter. 

We are extremely grateful for the many wonderful memories that include so many of you. 

Amelia is survived by her parents: Don Rolfe and Michele Duncan-Rolfe; sisters: Amber Rolfe(Nate)Voorhies, Mandy Rolfe (Matt)Currier, Mila, Aryiah, Lily, Emery, Will, Lachlan; grandparents: Claire Cropper Rolfe, Mike and Eileen Smith Duncan; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Preceeded in death by her uncles: Michael Perry Duncan and Henry Sansone; grandfather, Donald Dale Rolfe; aunt, Karen Diane Woods and all her great grandparents and various others. 

"Celebration of Life" services to be held July 6th, 2023  at 11:30 a.m. at the Westland 2nd Ward Eastside chapel located at  7171 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah.  There will be a viewing prior to this service at 10:00 am.    

Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetary immediately following service. If you will be joining us for a meal following the Interment at Westland 2nd Ward please R.S.V.P. by July 1, 2023.  So that we can plan accordingly, text 385-274-9514 your name and how many are in your family/party. Thank you!
