Angela Desirae Visser Cooley

Angela Desirae Visser Cooley was reunited with her heavenly family on January 28, 2013 after an extended battle with Cancer. Lucas and Sharon celebrated her arrival on March 31, 1966 in SLC, Utah. Angela counted her children, Brayden and Maegan as her greatest blessings. She enjoyed taking them to movies, concerts and boating as well as supporting their pursuits of music and dance. Angela worked diligently to graduate from Jordan High School in 1984 and simultaneously completed her cosmetology license. She went on to attend Utah State University and FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), where she amazed her instructors with her creativity. She served an LDS mission and was blessed to be called to the Taejon Korea Mission. She truly loved the Korean people and came home with a strong love of Kimchi. Brigham Young University became her next creative journey where she studied fine art. Angela then worked in the mortgage industry for several years as an Underwriter, Loan Officer and Processor. After a successful career in the mortgage industry, she returned to her true passion in the beauty industry with the creation of Bling Strands. She traveled extensively with this business, developing personal and professional relationships worldwide. Angela's favorite city to visit was Chicago. The beauty industry was her true love as it allowed her to maximize her creative talents with renowned stylists and creative professionals. Angela's passions and talents included her time with her children and family, home decorating, fashion design, photography, crafting, painting, sketching, sewing and reading. Angela also had a beautiful singing voice and she was becoming a very accomplished graphic designer. Wherever Angela went, she had the ability to make friends easily. She brought joy and laughter into so many lives simply by being a true friend. She was definitely one in a million. Her final resting place will be in the Elysian Gardens. Angela is survived by her children Brayden Mitchell Cooley, Maegan Jewel Cooley, Austin Cooley (step son) and Heather Cooley (step daughter); her parents, Lucas and Sharon Visser; her siblings Michael Visser, Teresa Webster (Kennedi, Kyra and Kimora), Patrick (Stacie) Visser (Emma, Kaylee, Amelia and Graham), Trazee Boyd-Pingel (sister in law) (Zoey, Jade and Max). She is preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred and Jewel White and her brother Ryan Visser. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 2nd at the Sandy Stake center located at 9331 S 300 E. Viewings will also be held at the stake center on Friday, February 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Saturday February 2nd from 9:30 - 11:00 AM prior to the funeral services. Special Thanks to Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah Hospital and Hearts for Hospice for their dedicated service, love and compassion
