Annette Ruth Woodmansee Thulin

July 29, 1944 - December 10, 2025

Annette Ruth Woodmansee Thulin passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family the evening of December 10, 2025. Born July 29th, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Gidney Woodmansee and Martha Ruth Clements Woodmansee. Annette was the third oldest of seven children. She married her high school sweetheart, William Delbert Thulin, in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 29, 1965. She found joy and purpose in being a mother and a grandmother, and was an example to those who knew her of love and service. 

She shared a love of music and learning with her children that has stayed with them and influenced their lives, and the lives of her grandchildren. She developed a strong love of the Book of Mormon and testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and frequently shared that with her family.

She is survived by her children, J. Kjell, Wendy (Tom), Steven (Sarah), Penny (Sione), Heather, Ginger (Marcio), W. Donald, Andrew (Errowyn); 29 grandchildren; and three sisters. She is now celebrating a happy reunion with her loving husband, her daughter Julie, her parents, her sister Diane, her brother David, and her sister Cecilia.

A viewing will be held Thursday, December 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 2811 S 6400 W in West Valley City. Funeral services will be held at the same location Friday, December 19, at 10:00 am, with a viewing from 9:00 to 9:45 am prior to the service. The interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park.
