Arlene L. Hasbrouck

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Arlene L. Hasbrouck, 75, returned to the Good Shepard on Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by her loving family. Arlene was born June 27, 1937 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Virgil L. Peterson and Rosalie d. Peterson (Jeffery). She married her Sweetheart, Ronald D. Hasbrouck at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Crookston Minnesota by Father Krebs, on February 8, 1957. After graduating from Fisher High School, Arlene wore many hats as a Bell telephone operator, Crookston Public School cook, restaurant owner and operator, but her happiest profession by far was being a house wife and mother to her four sons. Before Rheumatoid Arthritis took its debilitating hold, Arlene enjoyed fishing at the family's Lake of the Woods home, she loved playing cards and going to BINGO with her many friends and family, but what she cherished most in life was being with her family members both distant and close. Her greatest Achievements were successfully teaching her boy's how to cook and have strong family values, along with beaming with pride for each of her amazing and wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arlene is survived by her husband Ronald D. Hasbrouck, her children, Ronald D. Hasbrouck Jr. (Diane), Daniel J. Hasbrouck (Kindi), Gregory L. Hasbrouck, and Richard L. Hasbrouck. Her grandchildren Crystal, Nichole, Dustin, Kasandra, Amy, Cory, Amanda, Cauy, Cody, Jacinda, Trevor, Anthony, Elliana, and Joshua. She is also Survived by her Mother Rosalie, Sisters Marlys, Nancy, and Pamela along with her brother Darrell. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 702 Summit Ave, Crookston, Minnesota 56716. A Special thanks to all our family and friends during this time of our sorrow.
