Avanelle L Eamer

Avanelle L. Eamer (Bossenberger) passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Salt Lake City UT of causes incident to age. Avanelle was born October 19, 1936 to Fred and Adalene Eamer. She was born and raised in Boone Iowa, and graduated from Boone High School. Avanelle married Kenneth R. Bossenberger in 1954 and together they raised four children; Lucinda (John Neumann), Brian (Kathy) Bossenberger, Stephanie (Jody) Bossenberger and Kevin Bossenberger. They later divorced. Over the years, she embraced the role of grandma to 4 grandchildren and recently, two great grandchildren. Avanelle was proud of her mid-western upbringing and brought her dedicated work ethic to the profession of Nursing. She graduated from Weber State University in 1981 and dedicated her nursing career to Intermountain Health Care McKay Hospital, Ogden UT Newborn Intensive Care until her retirement. Avanelle was a wonderful seamstress, fiber artist (knitting, crocheting, and quilting, cross stitch) who gave her creations to family and friends throughout her life “just because she wanted to.” We would like to honor her friends who kept our Mom so busy with outings to local and regional theatre and her countless hours with her bridge playing friends, nearly making it a part time job.

The Eamer-Bossenberger family wishes to thank Intermountain Health care and St. Joseph’s Villa for their compassionate care of our Mother. Final care under the direction of Serenicare Funeral Home, SLC. Gathering of friends and family for Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
