Bradley (Brad) M Ward, 76, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s on October 12, 2025, in his home in West Jordan, Utah.
Brad was born March 20, 1949, to Arlo and Emelia Ward in Rexberg, Idaho where Brad grew up with his siblings: Jay, Leesa, and Kyle. Brad loved the outdoors and watching wildlife. Brad was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission sharing the gospel in Frankfurt, Germany. Brad spent his life in the service of Christ and shared his testimony of the gospel with his family often.
Brad attended Brigham Young University, where he met the love of his life, DeAnne Harward. They married in the Manti Temple on May 27, 1972. During their 53 years of marriage they had six children: Emity, Jared, Tori, Tiffanie, Garrett, and McKay. Brad held many jobs throughout his life but his true life’s work was his family. Brad’s guiding life principle, in his own words, was: “Talk to your parents and children while you can see them. While you have them, enjoy them. Do things together.”
Brad is survived by his wife, DeAnne, their 6 children, and 14 grandchildren: Shelby, Taylor, Sky, Rylie, Carter, Madeline, Camryn, Bradley, Pyper, Mikey, Bridger, Henry, Tom, and Audrey. Brad will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering faith in God, and love for his family. His love and wisdom were gifts to all who knew him.
