With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Branden Ngo, who left this world far too soon on June 13, 2026. Born on March 11, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Branden was a remarkably kind and compassionate soul whose presence illuminated every life he touched.
Branden was more than just a cherished son, brother, and friend—he was an amazing Certified Nursing Assistant whose dedication and tender care enriched the lives of many at the VA and an elderly care facility. His dream to become a pediatric nurse reflected his boundless empathy and longing to nurture those in need, especially children.
As a young man, Branden took great pride in graduating from high school and navigating the challenges of adulthood with courage and grace. These milestones were not merely achievements but testaments to his strength, character, and determination. Beyond his commitment to his career and future aspirations, Branden found joy in writing poetry, losing himself in books, playing games, and embracing the outdoors through hiking. His affection for Mountain Dew and matcha was a charming reflection of his vibrant personality. Most tenderly, he adored his two beloved cats, Beau and Stan, who knew the depth of his love and care.
Branden’s gentle spirit and infectious smile were gifts to all who knew him—family, friends, and strangers alike. He had a way of making those around him feel seen, valued, and truly loved, always ensuring someone nearby knew they mattered. It is this legacy of kindness and warmth that will continue to inspire and comfort us.
Branden is lovingly remembered by his father, Bill Ngo; his mother, Michelle Vuong; his sisters, Jenny Ngo and Amy Ngo; his niece, Estrella Fuentes; and his nephew, Marcelo Fuentes. His loss is deeply felt alongside the memory of his two grandmothers and grandfather, who have preceded him in passing.
A viewing to honor Branden’s life and memory will be held on June 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at City View Memorial, located at 1001 East 11th Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later that day, a witness cremation will take place at McDougal Crematory—The Gathering Hall at 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Utah, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Though his time with us was brief, the love and light Branden shared will forever remain in our hearts. His sweet soul, full of boundless love and care, leaves behind a lasting imprint—reminding us to cherish every moment, to give generously, and to greet the world with an unshakable smile. Rest peacefully, dear Branden, enveloped in the love you so freely gave. You will be missed beyond words.
