Brittany Dawn Robbins

Brittany Dawn Robbins passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 18, 2016 after a heroic battle against ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Brittany was born on October 7, 1977 to Steven and Debbie Larsen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Britt grew up in Payson, Utah where she enjoyed many friends, clogging, playing softball and doing hair. After High school Brittany attended Bon Losee Hair Academy where she received her license to be a hair stylist. There she gained a special talent as a stylist to not only cut and style hair beautifully, but also to help her clients feel amazing about themselves and everything about life.

Brittany married Brett Robbins; with whom came her 2 beautiful daughters, Makaela Brooke and Alyssa Nicole Robbins. They later divorced.

Britt married Stephen Daniel Hibbitts in 2003 and were later Sealed for time all eternity in the Draper Utah temple on November 29, 2014. Together they have 4 children, Samantha Ann, Taylor Daniel, Makaela Brooke, and Alyssa Nicole. They made their home in Saratoga Springs, where they grew to love their neighbors and ward family and especially the children they taught in Primary.

Britt’s life was centered around family but Brittany always had a concern for all those around her. She had a knack for making sure everyone was taken care of whatever their needs. After her Diagnoses in September of 2014 she continued to fight and do everything in her power to continue blessing the lives of others. However, as time went on the disease slowly overtook Brittany’s ability to move and soon her ability to breath independently. But her gift to touch peoples lives grew like a wild fire, she was an inspiration to thousands around the world. Her bright smile was contagious and everyone was drawn to her and her sense of humor.                                                                                                 Brittany we thank you for teaching all of us different life lessons through your trials and challenges especially when things became difficult. You taught us to never give up. You have left an incredible impact and foot print in our hearts and minds. We know that this is a temporary end in this mortal life, but only the beginning in the eternal scheme of things. Until we meet again, our dear Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend. With Eternal Love your family. We will always remember to “Be Britt Brave”.

Brittany is survived by: Husband (Stephen Daniel Hibbitts of Saratoga Springs Ut) Children (Makaela, Alyssa, Samatha and Taylor) Parents ( Steven and Debbie Larsen of Payson Ut)  Sister (Nicole and Brandon Baldwin of Herriman Ut) Brother (Trevor and Terra Larsen of Payson Ut) Niece and Nephew (Ivorie and Colt Baldwin) along with her two favorite non-human Niece and Nephew puppies Macey and Mack.
