Bruce Albert Wickham

Bruce Albert Wickham passed away October 11, 2021 at his home in South Jordan, Utah. He was born the eighth of nine children to Robert James and Barbara Joyce Bettridge Wickham in Murray Utah. He attended Salt Lake City Schools, finishing up at East High School in 1995.

Bruce was an avid sports fan always cheering on his favorite teams; The Utah Jazz, The New England Patriots, and The Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed fishing, shooting hoops, miniature golf, mowing lawns, riding his bike, visiting with friends, neighbors, and even strangers; there were no strangers to Bruce. He was strong even through his health challenges.

He had a willing and giving heart and would offer to help in any way he could. He would offer to give away his coat or the shirt off his back, which he was known to do. He loved his dog B.J. (Bruce Jr.) who preceded him in death. Bruce strived to be independent and accepted help on his own terms.

Bruce is survived by his siblings: Carolee and Bruce Pyper, Joyce, Brent and Jana, Lorilyn and Brandon Walker, Nieces and nephews who he was so proud of: Kimberly, Spencer, Melissa, D.J., Alexandra, Garrett, Natalie, Brody, Devon, Jude, Emarie, Trent, Jet, Ainsley, Hunter, Kambri, James, Edmund, Rose, Kaisley, Briarly, and Vivian.

Preceded in death by: his parents, siblings: Mark, LuAnn, Wayne, and Ward, grandparents and niece BreAnn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. Cannon 5th Ward 1250 West 1400 South. A viewing will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. prior to the funeral. Internment will be at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 So., West Valley City, Utah. We also thank Serenicare for their service to our family.
