Calvin Lee Curtis

Calvin Lee Curtis, 71, passed away on August 27, 2016 in South Salt Lake surrounded by family. Born August 7, 1945 in Aurora, Utah to Clifford and Nina Searle Curtis.

He loved spending time with his family and friends and spending time outdoors. He loved unconditionally and gave great big hugs, and those traits will be greatly missed.

He is survived by children: Charlene (Kent) Curtis Trolson, Collette (Robert) Mortensen, Jerry Curtis, Gary Curtis, and Rachael Curtis-Walk; step-children: Tracy Steed, Michelle (Ralph) Kunz, Mandee (Shiloh) Roberts, and Jeremy (Carla) Marshall; sister, Shirley (Horace) Qualls; brothers: Therral (Erma) Curtis, Steve Curtis, and Daron (Reta) Curtis; sister-in-law, Vicky Curtis; as well as 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad; brother, Charles Curtis; and sisters, Rula (Joe) Swindle and Marva Jolley.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice and Rosewood Care Center.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 11:00am-2:00pm at Veterans Memorial Park located at 1985 West 7800 South, West Jordan, Utah, under the Large Veterans Pavilion.
