Carl Thurman Buehner "T"

Carl Thurman Buehner "T" passed away on May 12th 2015. He was born to Carl W. Buehner and Lucile Thurman Buehner. T grew up with his three older sisters Ruth, June and Marilyn in the Forestdale area and attended South High School. He was called on a mission to Hawaii but was drafted and chose to serve in the air force for four years, serving mainly in Germany. He then attended the University of Utah, where he joined Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. While singing in a choir, T met his future bride, Joyce Fox. They were married in 1959 and began raising their three children Roger, Sue, and Amy in the Butler area. Carl Thurman Buehner "T" sang for 19 years with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. After retiring he joined "The Paint Crew". Wherever he worked, studied, traveled and served, T made lifelong friends. He has 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his three sisters and son, Roger. A visiting for Carl Thurman Buehner "T" will be held Friday, May 15th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 16th from 10:00-12:00 with the funeral to follow at 12:30 all at the Monument Park Stake located at 1320 South Wasatch Drive.
