Carole Eckersley Webster

Carole Eckersley Webster passed away September 16, 2023 in Draper, Utah.  She was born February 26, 1937 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Jay Dean Eckersley and Georgia Dees.  She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.  She married Duane Southwick in 1959 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They later divorced.  In 1980 she married Michael Webster in Cache Valley, Utah.   She worked many years for Mountain Fuel Supply Company as a natural gas sales expert.  

She loved to sew and do decorative painting.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many varied callings in her life.  

She is survived by her daughter; Cynthia Lynn (Randy) Bowman and son: Bret Duane (Dawn) Southwick.  She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Turley; grandchildren; Jessica (Randy) Hagger, Jay (Kimberley) Bowman, Brynne (Jordan) Barlow and Cari (Joe) Carnell; 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceeded in death by: her husband, Michael and her son, Kent Lee Southwick.  

There is a funeral service planned, Monday, September 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Chapel, 17111 S Redwood Road (1700 West), Bluffdale, Utah 84096.  There will be a visitation with the family prior to the service starting at 12:30 p.m.  Interment will be directly after the service at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  

The family would to extend their graditude to Renew Hospice and Ashford Assisted Living for their loving kindness in caring for their mother.  

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to the Humane Society of Utah in Carole’s honor.
