IN LOVING MEMORY OF CAROLYN DEE HALE
April 21,1941-May 28,2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Dee Hale, who left this world on May 28, 2026, at the age of 85.
Born on April 21,1941, in Challis, Idaho. Carolyn lived a life filled with love, adventure, laughter, creativity, and service. Whether she was helping a friend or spending time with family. Carolyn had a way of making people feel welcome and valued.
Carolyn was passionate about her family as a wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and about her faith. She served faithfully as a Young Women's leader, Relief Society leader, Primary teacher, temple worker and missionary. Those who knew knew her, will remember her sense of humor, generosity, determination, and kindness. She believed deeply in the importance of family, and helping others, and that spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all, Carolyn cherished her family, friends, and faith in Christ. The memories created with loved ones-from family reunions to everyday moments- will continue to bring comfort and smiles for years to come.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Leroy; her children Debra (Greg), Sonja (Todd), Kevin (Linda), Cindy (Bubba), Deidra (Brian), Dallas (Cassie), and Jeff; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Mayanna Chivers, Mary Shaul, Sandie York, Paul Schut, and stepbrother Ralph Shoaf. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Stephens and Lucile Webb; her sister, Jennie Nelson, grandson Kirtis Hale and granddaughter Kayla Barrott.
Though Carolyn is no longer with us, the love, laughter and lessons she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held on June 5, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel in Pingree Id. Viewing at 10:00-11:45am with Funeral Services at 12:00pm.
Concluding with graveside services at Riverside-Thomas Cemetery Blackfoot, ID.
