Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle peacefully left this earth on July 26th 2006 to be with his wife Bobbie who passed away on July 19th 2006. He was born December 20th, 1939 in Hollister, California to Everette and Donna Dorn. He was raised in McGill, Nevada from 1946 to 1979 at which time he moved his family to Kearns, Utah. Pete served in the US Air Force (Airman 2nd Class E-3) as a hydraulic specialist. He then went to work for Nevada Northern Round House and KCC Ore Haulage as a brakeman on the Railroad until 1979. He retired from KCC, Utah Division in 1980. He married Bobbie Jo King in Ely, Nevada on November 27, 1963 and together they raised two children. Pete loved everything about planes, trains, camping, fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his son, Mike (Debbie) Dorn, daughter, Roni (Bob) O'Hara, grandchildren, Brandi and Destry Haight, Cody and Denton Dorn, Kerstine and Bethany Coca, Chassidy Ellison and Kevin O'Hara, brother, Mike (Millie) Dorn, sister, Donna (Larry) Ingle, sister-in-law, Billie (Glen) Taylor, Bonnie (Larry) Fulkerson, brother-in-law, Harvey (Dianne) King, nieces, nephews and many special friends. Also, a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice for all the love, care and support they have given our family over the past couple of months. Pete will be cremated and services will be held for both he and Bobbie at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery near Camp Williams 11:00 am, Monday, July 31, 2006. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ronald McDonald House and Rocky Mountain Hospice. We've shared our lives these many years. You've held my hand; you've held my heart. So many blessings, so few tears - Yet for a moment we must part. The memories you've given me are times I've shared with my best friend I'll hold them, Love. Right here, they'll be until we share our lives again. "T.C. Ring" - Love you forever, Bobbie (who wrote this obituary with her children before she died on July 19th)
