Christine Lynn Archuleta

Christine Lynn Archuleta, 61 passed away surrounded by her family November 16, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Christine was born on December 13, 1959 to Nona and Vincente Archuleta in Durango Colorado. Christine grew up with a big family, 2 brothers and 4 sisters in Clearlake, California. Later she settled and raised her 5 children in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Christine was a spiritual woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others whenever she could above all else. She always had an open door and loved cooking for her family. She loved taking drives to simply enjoy scenery or just to get out, spending time in the mountains and loved talking, laughing and joking with her kids. Christine was always a good listener and was there for anyone who needed an ear. She always gave the best advice, just by being honest with everyone.

Christine is survived by her mother Nona Archuleta; her siblings Gonzago, Theresa, Loretta and Erica, 5 children; Michael Vasquez, Rosemary (Anthony) Holt, Lucas (Stephanie) Olmedo, Valentino Olmedo and Isabell Archuleta; 19 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Vincente, brother Pepe and sister Joann.

Christine was loving, strong and beautiful inside and out. She will be deeply missed, never forgotten and always with us. “ My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” - Psalm 73:26

Services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 2119 S 400 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 Monday November 29, 2021. You may arrive as early as 11:00 AM to pay your respects in the gathering space, the rosary will begin at 11:30 AM followed by mass at 12:00 PM.

There will also be a luncheon for Christine’s family and friends following mass at Central City Recreation Center located on 615 S. 300 E until 4:00 PM.
