Clint David Hendricks

August 1974 - July 2023

Clint passed away at St. Joseph Villa with his sister Kim, main supporter and co- conspirator, by his side. He died as a result of a rare genetic disorder, Neuronal Brain Iron Accumulation, that first took his sight, then his ability to speak clearly, then limited his mobility, and finally his ability to swallow. He fought a good fight.

He is survived by his mother Joreen Hall (Dave), special (half-) sister Kim Tyler, half-brother Gary Hendricks, half sister Lisa H. Simpson, special nieces Teasha and Alyssa, nephew James, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Gary L Hendricks.

Thanks to his great friends from CA and AA who supported and included him in camping and boating trips, get togethers, baseball games and much more over the past 25 years. There are so many people over the years whose names are lost to me, but most recently John L, Nick, Rick (who did the portrait), Maggie, Sarah, Troy, Dale and more past and present.

Thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph Villa who took such good care of Clint for the last 5 years: Anya, Matilla, Jenny, Rochelle, Yuri, Melanie, Leanne to name only a few. They made him feel special and they were great at communi- cating with family regarding his situation. We could not have asked for better.

Thanks to the great staff from Inspiration Hospice for their compassionate care as he neared, and finally reached, his limits. Jolene, Nikki, Lexi, and Amber most recently. All top notch.

Clint chose cremation. A memorial will be held later this summer. If you’d like to be notified, please e-mail joreenhall@gmail.com.

He was deeply loved by many and will be missed. Be at peace our son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend.
