Cory Hans Beckstead

Cory Hans Beckstead passed away on October 14, 2018 in his home in West Jordan, UT after battling cancer for 8 years. He was surrounded by his loving wife, daughter and family. He was born July 27th 1970 in Murray, UT. to Sharon Dennison and Hans Beckstead. He married the love of his life, Melynda Banner on August 25, 2006. Cory always had a positive attitude. He loved camping, hunting and fishing on the Boulder Mountain with his family. He enjoyed his job with Maverick hauling crude oil and gas where he became friends with many wonderful and caring people.

Cory is survived by his wife Melynda, sons and daughter, Braeden, Skylar, Hunter and Makayla. Mother and father, stepmother Sharie, father and mother in laws James and Carlene Banner, brother Casey Beckstead, sister Marcie Pearmain and stepbrothers John, James and Michael Heath. Many brothers and sister in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his stepfather Deon Dennison, Grandparents Albert and Beth Pollock, Junior and Vesta Beckstead.

The family would like to thank the wonderful, loving and caring staff at the Utah Cancer Center, Brighton Home Health and Hospice and CE Medical Group. The Celebration of Life will be held on November 10, 2018 from 11am - 2pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 5176 West Parr Drive in West Jordan, UT.
