Courtney Lee Lindsley

Listen to Obituary

We sadly announce that after several weeks, fighting multiple health issues, Courtney passed on August 28, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was born December 1, 1961 to James Kerr Wood and Mary Lee Gustav in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Courtney's primary occupation was a homemaker as she dedicated her life to her husband, her children and then her grandchildren.

Courtney was the most christian person you could ever have known.  She was loving, forgiving of other's faults, loyal, kind, generous to a fault and still questioned everything.  On a trip to California, a sea urchin from a tide pool was taken and put into her hand.  On that day, she felt a love of the ocean forever.

Amongst her greatest accomplishments were the friendships she made.  Her friendships were so important to her.  She always made friends feel like family.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Wayne Lindsley; her children Ryan (Angela), Rosalie (Moises) and Randy (Temesha); eight grandchildren: Ethan, Ian, Melina, Cristopher, Erik, Kaisen, Aiden and Naomi.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffiny who passed in 1981 at two months old and her father Jim who passed 1998.

A viewing and service are planned for Friday, September 12, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at City View Memoriam, 1001 East 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah.
