Celebrating the Life of Craig Henry Jackson

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, we celebrate our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Craig Henry Jackson, who peacefully returned home on November 2, 2025, surrounded by love.

Craig was born on March 26, 1944, at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. Shortly after birth, he was lovingly adopted by A. Rulon and Naomi A. Jackson, and later sealed to them in the Salt Lake Temple in 1958 - a blessing that shaped his life of faith and devotion.

Growing up in the Avenues, Craig enjoyed a happy childhood and attended Ensign School, Stewart Jr. High, and graduated from East High School in 1962. He proudly served his country as a medic in the Army Reserves, stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco - an experience that reflected his lifelong compassion and service to others.

Craig began his professional journey with Physician Supply Company in 1962, where he dedicated 30 years before working with several other medical supply companies, retiring in 2010. He built lasting friendships wherever he went, known for his dependability, humor, and kindness.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Craig joyfully served in many callings, including Ward Clerk, Sunday School President, memorably, Counselor in the Branch Presidency at Coventry Care Center - a role that brought him deep spiritual fulfillment.

Craig married his eternal companion, Roslyn Findlay, on December 21, 1973 in the Provo Temple. Together, they shared 52 wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and family adventures.

Craig's legacy lives on through Roslyn and their five children - Laurie Rose, Keri Toponce (Aaron), Julie Gedge (Nathan), Christy Reller, and Robert Jackson (Jessica) - and through his ten adoring grandchildren: Jackson, Abbey, Jackie, Libby, Ryan, Stockton, Logan, Kate, Will, and Jacob. He is also lovingly remembered by his extended Findlay family and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Geraldine Wood, son-in-law Glenn Rose, and grandson Taylor - all of whom surely welcomed him with open arms.

A celebration of Craig's life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at the LDS Chapel at 1160 E Vine Street, Murray, UT, with a viewing prior to from 10am to 11:45am. Interment will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Final arrangements are under the care of SereniCare.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Kanani, Kelly, Brian, and Josh of Valeo Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

In true Craig fashion, we invite everyone to honor him by wearing crimson red - the color of his beloved Utah Utes - as we celebrate the life of a true Utah Man whose heart, humor, and faith brightened every life he touched.
