David M Christensen

David M. Christensen was born on March 26, 1939 in Richfield, Utah to Delbert Theodore and Helen Neola Peterson Christensen. He married Ricarda Martinez, on April 13, 1957. David has joined his wife, daughter and son on September 29, 2017. He passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He will be missed and leaves an empty spot in all our hearts.

David was a very caring giving man, who always looked out for his family. He was a very hard worker and could fix almost anything. He took pride in all he did. He said one of his fondest memories were of him and mom walking on the beach at night in Mexico.

After retiring mom and he traveled to Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada to enjoy the beach and warm weather. They enjoyed traveling whether it be on motorcycle road trips, in the camper, motor home or visiting many different countries. He comes from a long line of fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his family and teaching his children and grandchildren to carry on the tradition. His favorite times were spending time with his family. David served in the United States Air Force and worked at Hill Air Force Base.

He is survived by his children and their spouses: Chris Christensen (Cynthia), Pete Christensen (Mary), Delbert Christensen, Lisa Metcalf, Jessica Christensen and Derek Miller (Myra); 14 grandchildren: Brandi Moss (Daniel), Karen Pena (Jason), Nic Christensen, Adam Christensen (Angie), Annette Nielsen, Jason Nielsen (Johanna), John Metcalf, Jacques Metcalf, Jake Metcalf, Eric Christensen, Myles Christensen, Logan Christensen, Silas Miller and Avery Miller; 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; and his siblings: JoAnn Hansen, Nan Peacock, Terry D. (Marsha) Christensen, Myrna Christensen, sister-in-law, Debbie Christensen.
