David Lorin Grange

David Lorin Grange; father, brother, friend passed away peacefully on August 9, 2023, in his home surrounded by loved ones. David was born on October 31, 1950, to Myrle and Lorin Grange. He was the third born of four children and the only boy. He was raised in Orem, Utah, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and graduated from Orem High School. He grew up horseback riding, camping, hunting, and fishing. David participated in the Orem Riding Club. He enjoyed rodeos, participating with the Boy Scouts, and bowling. David was on a bowling league through Miracle Bowl.

David worked for a while at Geneva. Then he worked as a graveyard janitor for schools and hospitals. He continued working as a janitor until he needed knee replacements.

David had four children and two step children. He frequently took them for Sunday rides through the mountains. David had a love for western movies. He introduced his children to John Wayne.

David is survived by his four children: Dori, Missy, Jared and Kathryn Grange, two step daughters: Lisa (Forest) Light and Sarah (Jesse) Cwiklinski and his fur grand babies: Nico, Sugar, Bella and Maurice. He is also survived by one sister: LeeAnn (David) Orr and one brother-in-law: Myron Morgan plus his nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Dixie Morgan and Glenda Shumway, and one brother-in-law: Nyle Shumway.

We will be having a small graveside service to honor and celebrate David Grange on August 29, 2023, at 11 am at the East Lawn Memorial 4800 North 650 East, Provo, Utah.
