Deana Louise Castel (Rodriguez, Steggell) was called home on March 21st, 2023 after a tragic head-on collision took her and her baby boy, Toni Castel. Deana was a beautiful soul that loved to laugh and joke.
She was born to Veda (Haddon) Pannel and Michael Steggel December 15th, 1976 in Ogden, Utah. She was born and raised in Utah until 1989, when the family moved to Blackfoot, Idaho.
Deana has 6 beautiful children, Sarah Sykes (Peter), Charlie Wasia, Tumika Stecklein (Cameron), Jovana Rodriguez (Omar), Oscar Rodriguez (Ramon), and Toni Castel. She has 3 amazing grand babies and another on the way, Jorge & Iker, (Sarah) and Greyson (Tumika & Cameron).
Deana is survived by 5 of her children, her grandchildren, brothers (Charlie, Jason L, Jason Y, Bean), sisters (Sonce, Miranda, Shiloh, Sherry), bonus dad Vern Pannel, Aunts and Uncles, Grandma Corabell Haddon, Cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Veda Pannel & Michael Steggell, brothers Mikey and Chad Steggell, sisters Jenny Dodd & Mariah Pannel, Grandpa Chuck Haddon, cousins Eric and BJ.
