Delorace Avanelle Blackford

Delorace A. Blackford, age 74, passed away Dec. 15, 2006. Born, January 7, 1932 in Freetown, Indiana to Monroe and Willetta Marguarite Heman Davidson. Married Max Emerson Blackford, later divorced.
Delorace worked for AT&T. She loved her family very much and she loved to do needlework.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda J. (James) Powell and her son Michael Paul (Kelly) Blackford, grandchildren; Janet Smith, Lisa Johnson, Delorace Bates, John Powell, Tamara Blackford, Connie Blackford, Theland Blackford and 9 great - grandchildren.
At Delorace's request no formal viewing or funeral service is scheduled. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
