Dennis Charles Allen finished his mortal journey on November 18, 2012 at the age of 67. Dennis was born January 19, 1945 to Joseph Charles and Maurine Casto Allen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dennis graduated from Granite High School in 1963 and served in the East Central States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Dennis married his sweetheart, Jennene Farnsworth, in the Salt Lake Temple on February 13, 1969. Together, they have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. Dennis's posterity was his pride and joy. Dennis worked for Kennecott Utah Copper for 33 years until his retirement in 2007. He loved serving in his church, and was serving a mission with his wife at the time he fell ill. Dennis was passionate about missionary work, home teaching, and family history. He was always focused on the needs of others, and was ready at a moment's notice to be of assistance. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, mother, Maurine, brother, Sharon Draper, and sister Renee Tomlin. He is survived by his wife, Jennene, and his children: Jeanna , Deana (Jeff) Hinton, Jeremy (Alene), Trevor (Sarah), Erin (Nate) Campbell, Robyn (Russell) Stanworth, and Ethan. He is also survived by his siblings: Lynn (Janene), Eileen Case, Shauna (Scott) Dickamore, Jon (Diane), Ron (Julie), and Brent. Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Friday, November 23, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lindon Utah West Stake Center, at 250 W. 600 S. in Lindon, Utah (near 1030 W. 1600 N in Orem). A family visitation will be held prior to Funeral service beginning at 9:00 A.M.
