Diane G Cutler

Diane Griffeth Cutler, 73, passed away on June 21, 2024 from complications of debilitating dementia. She was a beloved  wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Diane was born on October 4, 1950 in Logan, Utah to Ariel A. Griffeth and Alta Clark Griffeth. She moved to Layton in 1957. She had her first dance with her future husband at the age of 7. She attended schools in Davis County graduating from Davis High School in 1968. Diane went on to earn her nursing degree from Weber State in 1971. She loved being a nurse and caring for others. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary De Cutler, December 30, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had 7 children.

Being a mother and grandmother was a joy in her life. She loved her family and took great care of her kids and grandkids. She loved animals, flowers, babies, sunsets, fall drives, and sewing. She always showed Christlike love to those around her.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, and her oldest son, Brice. She is survived by her loving husband Gary, and children Jeromy (Jayme), Royce, Tyson, Kayla (Chad), Derek (Amber), and Andree, and her grandchildren Avery, Jamie Lyn, Ashdyn, Bryson, BoDe, June, Brenna, Jeremy,  Korbin, Dallen, Lincoln, Ammon, Austin, and Martin, Emma and one great-granddaughter Oakley. Diane had one older brother VerNon (widower). She will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 28th at 7:00 pm at the Layton Utah Stake Center 60 W Gordon Avenue, Layton, Utah. Following the program, there will be time to visit with the family.
