Ersula Yearsly Hanson passed away on Friday, 28 March 2014, just 12 days shy of her 64th Ersula was born to Joyce & Renee Yearsley in Orem, Utah and graduated from Orem High School. She then attended Mary Kawakami's College of Beauty in Provo, Utah and worked as an extraordinarily good beautician while she excelled at her most important job, Viz., being a mother until the time of her death. She had a singing voice like that of an angel, was 'Drop Dead Gorgeous', was a superb pianist, and was the envy of any woman who ever looked into a mirror. Ersula met her future husband, Jerry Hanson through a mutual friend on 20 December 1968, in Provo, Utah. They soon fell in love and were married in the Manti Temple on 29 August 1969. Ersula was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mother, Wife, and friend to so many. She was loved by all. On 6 January 2011, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Carcinoma and was told that she had about two years to live. She is survived by her husband, Father, Two brothers, five children, eight grand children, and one step-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Renee Facer. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, 1 April 2014, at the Taylorsville Valley Park Stake Center, 2603 W. 4700 S. at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing; however, those who wish to express their condolences to the family may come at 10:00 AM.
