George Ralph Steadman

George Ralph Steadman, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, died on July 11, 2019.  He was born in Murray, Utah on December 23, 1947 to Ralph James Steadman and Ruth Mary Teerlink. He graduated from Lompoc High School in California. 

A commercial carpenter and talented craftsman, George helped build the Delta Center, UVU Student Center, and many other great structures. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved fishing, restoring cars, taxidermy, bird watching, and adventure. He loved Utah and Idaho, but called Texas his home.

Surviving George are his children: Clorissa Bascom, Adelle Thomas, and Timothy Scott; step-children: Sarah Steele, Erica Wilson, and Billie Wilson; grandchildren that he adored; sisters: Joanne Potter and Kristine Moser; and brothers: David, Gerald “Gerry”, and Glen Steadman.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3548 Mcgregor Lane, Saratoga Springs, Utah on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 11:00 AM, a time of visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Inurnment will follow at 3:00 PM in the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 S. 1300 W.
