Hans Jorgensen

Hans Jorgensen left us very suddenly on October 5th, 2015. He was born on May 17th, 1952 in Coos Bay, Oregon. Hans graduated from Pacific High School where he was voted as student body president in his senior year. He excelled at individual sports in school such as cross country, running, and wrestling. His first job was on a commercial fishing boat in Sitka, Alaska. He planted his roots in Utah where he met Lynn Hackwell and started a family together, raising 4 children. He spent the later years of his life with his love, Kim Hall. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved his children and his grandchildren. Anyone that knew Hans had a great story to tell about him. No one enjoyed a practical joke quite as much as he did, he enjoyed life and anyone around him could feel that. Hans was a great story teller and could captivate anyone. He loved to talk, he loved to meet new people and could make a friend out of anyone. He truly loved life. He is survived by the love of his life, Kim Hall, his children, Robin Breding (Chris), Holly Watson (Joe), Hans Jorgensen (Stephanie), and Jon Jorgensen (Kimberly), his siblings, Ann Ames (Donald), Carl Jorgensen (Linda), and Don and many grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Marion Jorgensen and Mary Peggy Christiana Coons, and his brother, June. Services will be held on the 16th day of October, 2015 at 1:00 O' Clock in the afternoon at the church on 2811 South 6400 West in West Valley City, a viewing will be held prior to the service at the same address from 11:00am-12:30pm. A special thanks to the individual that found and tried to help Hans, we would love to be able to thank you in person.
