Harrison Gerald Hazel

Our beloved Harrison Gerald Hazel was welcomed back into his Heavenly Father's arms on February 17, 2016 after bravely enduring several medical complications. Born 2 ½ months early on August 17, 2010 our family was blessed with the presence of his sweet spirit. Harrison’s final days were spent at home surrounded by loved ones where he passed peacefully.

Harrison touched the lives of so many people in his short, yet very memorable life. His infectious smile and magical laugh warmed the hearts of everyone who heard it.

During his five and half years, Harrison found great joy in life, despite his physical challenges. He loved getting on the bus and going to school, swimming, bumpy walks and car rides, swinging, and a wide array of music. The sounds of children never failed to bring out his amazing smile-singing, laughing, and, most of all, the voices of his siblings.

Harrison's life is one to be celebrated. He has taught us all so much. We will miss him and his sweet smile dearly, but rejoice knowing he is free of his physical limitations, running and playing in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

The family would like to thank all who looked after and cheered for Harrison during his time on this earth. A special thank you to his teachers at Jordan Valley School and to all of his doctors, especially Dr. Murphy, Dr. Dangerfield, and everyone at Primary Children's hospital.

Harrison is survived by his loving parents, Stephanie & Matt Theobald and Patrick & Kellen Hazel; and his siblings Hadley, Wyatt, Blakley, Collin, and Cole.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 11:30 am at the Willow Bend Ward located at 2230 South 350 East, Kaysville, UT 84037. A viewing will precede the funeral services from 10:00-11:30 am at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the Harrison Hazel Memorial Account 9080813 at America First Credit Union.
