Hawley Emma Jean Watson

Mrs. Watson-Hawley was a resident of Chandler, Arizona. Following an extended illness, Jean passed away peacefully at home. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado School of Nursing where she received her BSN. She was married to James Watson from 1947 until his death in 1991, and to Jack Hawley from 1994 until his death in 1998. She is survived by her sister Martha Lavelle Heuer (Francis); her children, James David Watson, Stephen Dell Watson (Mary Kay), Patricia Jeanne Gilbert (Steve) and Lisa Anita Will (Ken); ten grandchildren: Kristopher Stephen Gilbert, Jon Andrew Gilbert, Jessica Marie Will, Anna Lea Will, Seth David Watson, Joshua Stephen Watson, Abbie Lyn Adelia Will, Stephanie Joy Avila, James Christopher Watson, and Marissa Kay Watson; and, by six great-grandchildren: Solomon Jon Gilbert, William Andrew Gilbert, Samson Jay Gilbert, Annabelle Watson, Oliver Luke Gilbert, and Abigail Grace Watson. Jean was a loving wife and mother and an accomplished artist, who touched the lives of many people with her creativity and her joyful nursing care of new mothers and babies. A private burial will be held in Denver, Colorado. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. at Englewood Bible Church, 3190 South Grant Street, Englewood, Colorado.
