Helen A. Bray, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed unexpectedly April 9, 2026, in Murray, Utah due to health complications. She was born April 15, 1944 in Moroni, Utah to Wilford and Arvilla Anderson and was raised in Fountain Green, Utah. The the last 59 years, she made her home in Rose Park where she built a life filled with faith, family and service.
Helen was known for her kind, caring, loving and sassy nature. She loved the Lord deeply and served Him faithfully throughout her life. Her strong testimony carried her through many trials and inspired all who knew her.
Her greatest joy was her family. After dedicating herself to raising her five children, a role she considered her greatest calling, she later worked for the State of Utah Department of Insurance, retiring in 2008. She also served as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for 20 years, a calling she cherished deeply.
She loved spending time with family, especially at Fish Lake, Lamb Day in Fountain Green and little road trips. She took great joy in being involved in her children's lives and supporting them in their activities. Her hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, word searches, embroidery, quilting and as her children would say, "stirring the pot".
Among her proudest accomplishments were raising her five children to adulthood, watching her family grow across generations and her many years of devoted temple service. Helen had a very kind heart and especially loved being around her nieces and nephews when they were young. Helen often spoke of the day she would meet her father for the first time, a reunion she looked forward to with great anticipation. She also loved sharing her family history, including her family connection to President Russell M. Nelson.
