Helen Andrus

Helen Mae Hillman Andrus passed away in Alpine, Utah August 16, 2021. She was born April 13, 1923 to Ben Ira Hillman and Helen Brunson Hillman in Sunnydell, Idaho. She married Hyrum Leslie Andrus March 31, 1949 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Helen Mae was well educated with degrees from Ricks College and BYU and was dedicated to her family, her husband and her church. She filled many church callings over the years but most loved her work in both the Jordan River and Timpanogos Temples.

She is survived by children: John Leslie (Dena) Andrus of Tehachapi, California; Richard Milo (Brenda) Andrus of Stansbury Park, Utah; David Hyrum (Talli) Andrus of Evanston, Wyoming; 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday August 20, 2021 at the Alpine 1st Ward chapel, 890 North Heritage Hills Drive, Alpine, UT 84004. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the services. Interment will be at the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
