"The One That Was Always There!"
On December 6, 2006, surrounded by his loving family, Henry F. Martinez returned home peacefully. He was born on July 10, 1917 to Thomas and Adelina Martinez in Lagunitas, New Mexico. He married Emma Montoya Martinez on July 22, 1940. They were married for 53 ½ years. Henry & Emma loved to travel, camp, fish, hunt, and go four-wheeling. He loved spending time with the ones he loved the most... "La Familia". He especially enjoyed being around his grandchildren and teasing them. Henry & Emma had 8 children, 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Henry is survived by his children, Lilly, "Larry" Harrington of Castle Dale, Danny, "Christine" Martinez of Provo, and Desi Schnebly of Provo, 4 sisters, and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Emma, 5 children, his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson. Funeral services with Mass will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 10am at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem with a viewing one hour prior to the service. A viewing will be held at the Church Friday, December 8 at 8:00pm with a rosary beginning at 9:00pm. Arrangement by SereniCare, Funeral Directors. Interment at Provo City Cemetery.
