Inge Schueler

Inge Schueler our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, 83, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2006 in Provo, Utah. Inge was born in Hannover Germany on March 20, 1923 to her parents Heinrich and Hedwig Huhn Wittneben. She married William Schueler on April 6, 1950 in Hannover Germany then later migrated to Canada in 1957 with their daughter Marlis. Ten years later they moved to California with an additional daughter, Susan.
Inge completed her public education in Germany and attended a trade school in the clothing industry. During WWII she was a flight controller for the German Air Force. She enjoyed reading, gardening, camping in the Rocky Mountains and baking and cooking for others. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved visiting teaching. One of her greatest loves was being a caregiver. She was an owner/operator of a nursery for handicapped children.
She is survived by her two daughters; Marlis Higgins and Susan (Dean) Williams, eight grandchildren; Joanne, Christine, Rebecca, Skyler, Summer, Austin, Andrew, Katelyn and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and son-in-law Stan Higgins
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Battlecreek Eigth Ward Chapel, 1258 East 200 South (Battlecreek) in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Arrangements by SereniCare Funeral Directors.
