Iva Dean Garcia

Iva Dean Garcia passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014 in Chandler Arizona. Iva was born in Aspermont Texas on August 20, 1922 to Ophelia and John Gray. In 1971 she was married to Francisco Garcia in Mesa Arizona. Some of her hobbies included making her award winning ceramic nick knacks and anything to do with music, but what she loved was her children. She is survived by her children Peggy Benes, Linda Vargas, Don Ross, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and her sisters Arlis Parker, Swana (Truman) Flowers, and Wana (JoeBoy) Rash. A special thank you, to the staff and residents of Emeritus in Chandler for their loving support. A Graveside service will be held November 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Lawn 2300 West Van Buren Street Phoenix Arizona. Arrangements have been made by SereniCare Funeral Home 1525 West University Drive Tempe, Arizona.
