Listen to Obituary

Jared Stroud, born on May 12, 1994, in Ogden, Utah, departed from this world unexpectedly on March 19, 2026. His passing leaves a void that words can scarcely express, yet the love and warmth he shared endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jared was a remarkable individual whose intelligence and curiosity fueled a lifelong passion for learning. A self-taught web developer and designer, he brought creativity and beauty to countless online spaces, leaving a digital legacy that will inspire others for years to come. His deep love for computers and web design was not just a skill but an expression of his thoughtful and inquisitive nature.

Beyond his talents and accomplishments, Jared was known for a radiant smile that could brighten any room and a heart as generous as it was kind. He loved wholeheartedly, giving freely without expectation, and those who were fortunate enough to feel his kindness carried it with them always. His personality was marked by a genuine desire to help others and make everyone around him feel valued and good about themselves.

Music was another of Jared’s passions; he taught himself to play the guitar and treasured the moments spent attending concerts with his family. He found joy in gaming, especially when sharing those playful times with his beloved son, Jaxton Stroud. Jared’s proudest role was that of a father; the profound love he held for Jaxton defined much of who he was—and that love remains a shining beacon for those who loved him.

In true testament to his generous spirit, Jared chose to be an organ donor, gifting others the priceless gift of life amidst his own passing. This selfless act echoes the very essence of his character and will continue to touch lives in profound ways.

Jared’s life was not defined by his struggles, but rather by the boundless heart that those close to him will always remember. He leaves behind a loving family: his son Jaxton; his mother, Jennifer Stroud; his father, Jeff Polston; his siblings, Hunter, Sophia, Maddisyn, and Dominic Polston. Each of them, along with his many friends, will miss Jared beyond words but remain forever grateful for the warmth and love he shared.

Though Jared is no longer with us, the light he brought into the world through his intellect, creativity, kindness, and boundless love will forever endure. He will be remembered as a loving father, a talented artist of the digital world, and a truly compassionate soul. Jared Stroud’s story is one of love given freely and a life that, though cut short, shone brilliantly and touched so many.
