Jeffery Alan Tilton

I am heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Jeffery Alan Tilton. He passed away on October 7, 2022 at age 60 in Murray, Utah

Jeffery was born in Monmouth, IL and was the third of five children to Joana and Jerry Tilton. Jeff grew up in the midwest before heading west to Denver and finally made his way to the Salt Lake City area. He started his career as an electrician in Gladstone, IL wiring up farm buildings and he continued his career as an electrician. He liked the thrill of wiring cell phone towers.  

If you knew him as Dad, Brother, Grandpa Jeffy, Uncle Jeffy or just Jeff you knew he could talk you into just about anything. He always had something to say and he always had the best stories. He enjoyed drinking Kool Aid, JIF peanut butter, boating on the Mississippi River and on Flaming Gorge Lake, cruising on his bikes and making people laugh.  

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Ashley Tilton (Hector); three granddaughters, Thalia, Kaiya, and Zaylee; four siblings, Bob (Sheryl) Tilton, Rebecca Tilton, Jay (April) Tilton and Kim Tilton; nephews, Austin Tilton; nieces, Allie Aragon, Jordan Martinez, Ella Tilton, Sabrina Tilton; several great nephews and nieces, Rachel Tilton and many, many people who loved him as their family. 

Jeff is preceded in death by his mom, Joana Tilton; dad, Jerry Tilton; sister, Jennifer Tilton and his precious pup, Lil Lady.
