"Party Lady"
Our Sweet little lady Jennie Maurine Nesbit Burningham reunited with her sweethearts; Clifford and her daughter Shannon on the morning of July 23, 2006. She was born on June 30, 1919 in Provo, Utah to parents John and Jennie Nesbit in the home of her Grandparents. She met and married her sweetheart, Clifford E. Burningham on Nov. 10, 1935. Grandma B. enjoyed giving service to others by sharing her talents with her family, friends, and neighbors. Her talents included making butter, cottage cheese, homemade bread, but most of all her famous potato salad. She also spent countless hours planning and giving parties. Anyone who knew her will remember her as belonging to the American Fork Bridlettes Riding Club. She spent many Saturdays getting her horse Chief ready for the parades. Some of her accomplishments include working in labor and delivery at American Fork hospital for over 20 years. After retirement she worked as a fostergrandparent for 15 years. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She survived by her six children DeAnne (John) Welsh, Larry (Carolyn) Burningham, Shannon M. Burningham, John (Carla) Burningham, SheRie (Jim) Huggard, Kevin (Marian) Burningham Her sister Lucillle Petersen, 26 Grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Shannon, brother Bob Nesbit, and a sister Nyla Nesbit. Special thanks to Applegate Home Health/Hospice and the Trinity Mission staff for their loving care. Viewing will be held Thursday evening July 27, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the LDS 11th ward located at 240 S. Center in American Fork. Graveside services will be held Friday July 28 at 11:30a.m. at the American Fork Cemetery. Friends and family may visit prior to services from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m at the LDS 11th ward She will always be remembered for her big hugs!
