John Edwin Blewett

On Friday, July 14, 2006 our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend John Edwin Blewett Jr. returned home to his father in heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. John E. was born on January 17, 1975 in Provo Utah, to John Edwin Blewett Sr. and Julia Anne Blewett now Julia Anne Frost.

If you were one of the lucky people who had the chance to know John E. than you know you had a beautiful friend with the most loving and pure heart of anyone. John E. was the kind of person that would give the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his wallet if somebody else needed it. John E. was an inspiration to all of us. He was a brilliant artist who loved to draw. He also loved to skateboard and was talented in everything he did. Most of all John E. loved his family. His genuine happiness in life came from his nieces and nephews. They were his life and he left them with many cherished memories.

John E. grew up in Orem and attended Mountain View High School. He was employed as a linewatch at Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe for many years and valued the friendships he has with his co-workers. His friends at work were a very important part of his life. He was a hard worker who poured in hours and hours of his life into his job.

John E. didn't have the easiest life but he was never bitter and only gained strength and wisdom from his hardships. He had unique sense of humor that kept everyone laughing. His only concern, even up until his passing, was of others and their needs. He will be missed so very much but we will live each passing day knowing that we will be with him again forever.

Preceding him in death was his father John Edwin Blewett. Surviving him is his mother and step-father Julia and Kim Frost, his sisters, Angie Garner (Chad); Candace Butler (Brandon); Chelsea Frost, a brother, Damion Blewett and his step-siblings Becky Dunn, Shane Frost, and Michael Frost. Also included are his cherished nieces and nephews, Ashlynn, Jordan, Brooklen, Madison, Gabe, Cheyenne, Julia, and Gabriel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Kolob 3rd Ward Chapel, 451 S. Main Street in Springville. A viewing will be held at the church from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 and one hour prior to services on Wednesday where friends and family may call. Interment will follow at Provo Cemetery.
