John Edward Bryant

John Edward "Jack" Bryant passed away in Sandy, Utah on 10/17/2007. He was born in Auburn, New York on 3/20/1922 to Mabel Catherine Cooney and Charles Homer Bryant. He married Marian Hitchens on 6/8/1945 in Auburn, NY. Jack graduated from the US Naval Academy with a degree in Electrical Engineering and followed with a degree from MIT in Electronic Engineering. He served in the US Navy for 16 years and retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1987. His interests were photography, competition pistol shooting, scuba diving, and sail boating.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; 3 children: Sheryll Ann Bryant, Tucson, Dr. Michael Bryant, Portland, and Suzanne Cornick, Salt Lake City; 4 grandchildren: Jessica and Olivia Bryant, Clarice and Brett Cornick; a sister, Virginia Colella, and a brother, Richard Bryant both of Auburn, NY.
